You are likely to be a Computer Science graduate (or post-doc) with specialist expertise in two or more of the following areas: Description Logic, Reasoning, Ontologies and/or the Semantic Web. The ability to apply web technologies effectively is essential, so you will have a thorough knowledge of XML, Java and C# programming and be familiar with SQL and database architectures. A clinical or pharmaceutical background is beneficial but not essential and ongoing professional education will be provided as required.
